Are there any gluten intolerant or celiac folks living in the Grand
Junction, Colorado area? My daughter in Denver overheard a conversation in
the waiting room of her doctor's office. She couldn't help overhearing the
woman next to her telling someone on the phone that her young adult daughter
was just diagnosed with celiac disease. They are in the midst of planning
the daughter's wedding and are feeling very sidetracked by this news.

My daughter is happily gluten free, along with her children, her mother and
her brother, so she has befriended this woman and is assuring her that they
will survive! They have communicated by e-mail but someone closer to Grand
Junction would be very helpful.

If you are in the Grand Junction area, and are willing to offer some local
advice, please let me know and I will send the information on to her. I
looked at celiac.com but did not see any support groups in that area.

Thanks,
Anne Barfield
