Hello
I am new to this site so forgive me if this has already been discussed. I have been on a
gluten free diet for about 7 years. I cannot tolerate soy or lactose as well. In April I was
being awakened by a racing heart for about a week. Never had it before. I went to my
doctor who said my heart was strong but I should get blood tests. The racing stopped (for a
month). The partner of my doctor said the results showed I was hypothyroid. The numbers
looked good to me but he insisted.I began having problems with Armour about three weeks
into it. Lots of racing heart at night. I weaned myself off with side effects of more racing
heart. Went to my regular doctor who said I did not need the medication. My thyroid was a
bit low, but not to worry. I have been off the medication for about two weeks and am now
experiencing racing heart again and still. I have been reading about magnesium for racing
heart. Also that there might be a relationship between magnesium deficiency and those with
celiac. Anyone know anything about any of this. Thank you so much.
Karen
