Dear list:
The general consensus was that I should buy a chunk of
solid parmesan cheese and grate it.

Opinions varied on GF status of brands of grated parmesan.

A brand from Italy, Parmesiano Regianno, was said to be
GF because Italy doesn't allow fillers.  Cabot's grated parmesan
was said to be GF.

Other than that, some people felt some brands were GF, and
others felt those brands weren't.
