Hi List mates:
Thank you all so much for replying to my query about medic alert bracelets.
My summarization is as follows: 24 list mates &/or their child/children wear
either a medic alert bracelet or necklace. One person had one & lost it; &
one wearer suggested to members of her support group to get them. 10 thought
it a great idea & are thinking about getting one. One gal said when she was
diagnosed at the Mayo Clinic, they recommended she get one. 2 wrote saying
anything given in Emergency wouldn't be consumable, as all injestables are
g/f. An EMS responder said medic alert bracelets/necklaces are worn for life
threatening conditions!! Finally, one person doesn't see any point, if
you're unconscious, you shouldn't be given anything by mouth ---- good
point!!
Again, thank you one & all. All comments &/or suggestions were greatly
appreciated.
Have a nice day!!!
Donna/TX
