In addition to having CD I am also corn intolerant. I cannot use regular
baking powder as baking powder has either wheat or corn starch mixed in. The
list of ingredients in Magic Baking Powder is as follows:

Corn Starch
Monocalcium Phosphate
Sodium Bicarbinate

I have located a baking supplier in Vancouver B.C. that will sell me a 50
lb bag (minimum size) of Monocalcium Phosphate. I know I can buy Sodium
Bicarbinate as baking soda, and I can replace the corn starch with potato
starch. Does anyone know of the ratio of the above three ingredients that
is used in baking powder so that I can make my own baking powder? There
must be a chemist out there somewhere! Or does anyone know where I could
buy baking powder without corn or wheat starch? I will never use up the 50
pound bag of Monocalcium Phosphate in this life time!

Thanks

Thank you
