I had to change pharmacies this week. I take Synthoid so I called the pharmacy and asked what company they use. I had looked it up on the mainstream products list but I was not sure if I would be getting a generic or not so I wanted to double check. I called Abbott Labs 1-800-441-4987.
They told me that Synthoid was gluten free and that they also sent a letter to all of the companies that they buy ingredients from asking them to verify if their products were gluten free. They said they could safely say the product is GF.
Wow, was I impressed and I told her that.
