I've been asked about EGG BEATERS. The listed ingredients are: egg white
and less than 1% of xanthan gum, guar gum and beta carotene. There are
vitamins and minerals added. When I called Nabisco: 1-800-NABISCO
(622-4726), the customer service rep checked the ingredient list of both
the frozen and the refrigerated versions. She revealed that there is a
trace of corn oil in each version which they don't put on the label because
it is an ingredient from another manufacturer. I called again and talked
with a different rep to make sure I got everything down and learned that
the vitamin sources are said to be synthetically produced.
Please note that all <egg products> are not made the same. Some contain
lactose.
Safe eating,
Mary
