Hi,
thanks to all the people (36 so far) who took the time to answer my
question, it was heartwarming and I am truly gratefull!

So here it comes the summary.

Possible causes:

1.Leaky gut syndrom, which causes oversensitivity to all sorts of food.
It was suggested I keep a food diary and have a so called ELISA
bloodtest done to find out what I'm reacting to.

2.DH
A lot of people wrote they had diagnosed dh, and had similar or the same
symptoms to start with. Someone said there's a dh survey 97 in the
archive, which might have usefull information on this. Benadryl was used
a lot, have to find out what exactly that is. (I live in Germany, so a
lot of the stuff you mention might not be available here or not under
the same name.)

3.Yeast Infection
Can be caused by cd, antibiotics, allergies. Has symptoms similar to cd
when not being on a gf diet. If anyone of you need to know more about
this, just write: I've been through that with tests and diet and
all....all negativ, turned out to be cd...

But maybe it's the answer to some of you who don't know what's causing
the itch.

4.Dry skin
Suggested remedies: Cool beads described as aloe and vitamin E & A,
after sun gel, moisturizing lotion eg Aquaphilic, Aveeno Baths,
Norwegian Formula.

5.Liver problems

6.Thyroid desease

7.Stress

8.Airborne gluten

9.Lupus (I don't know what kind of Lupus, there are several kinds, but as
this was about itchness I presume it's Discoid Lupus which was ment.)

10.Deposits of IgM, associated with delayed allergic reactions to foods,
viruses or bacteria.

11.Pancreatitis.

12.Pruritis

13.Grain fed meat

14.Wheat contains a mineral called silicon which is good for the skin,
and also counteracts the negative effects of alluminium access. So no
wheat, no silicon.

Natural replacement: horsetail ( also called shave grass)

15.There might be a shortage of Essential Fatty Acids (they are among
other things important for the skin esp. when suffering from psoriasis
or exema). Sources are Flax seed oil, fish liver oil, Evening primrose,
Grape seed oil.

16.Psoriasis

Some other suggested remedies:
-cool packs or cold water
-covering uo the legs(air made it worse)
-cutting out carbohydrates, yeast, cheese
-100 % glycerin soap
-Cordran tape
-Dry brushing the skin might help, start at the feet and work your way
   up in circular movements.
-Use almond or sesame oil after showering (not the ones used for
cooking) with a few drops of essential oil.(eg chamomile, neroli,
   sandle wood)
-perfume free, dye free laundry detergent, no fabric softener.

Someone mentioned there's been a similar question last fall, so I'll
dive into the archives and check that out.

Again thanks to all. I hardly ever talk about these problems, and to
have such a great response and from people I don't even know, well what
can I say? Lucky me.....
