Hi List,

I just heard on the local news that the American Food Manufacturers
Association is making a recommendation for better labeling of food contents
to help people with food allergies. No specific mention was made of Celiac
Disease, but this may benefit us in being able to find GF foods more easily.
Perhaps our persistence in seeking information from manufacturers is paying
off.

It will probably take some time before the new labeling takes affect in the
local stores, but I feel it is a step in the right direction. My hat is off
the organization for their recognition of the 7 million people in the US
with food allergies.
