Hi group,

Does anyone have a recipe for plain yellow "box" cake mix? A basic generic one that can be used for other recipes such as gooey butter cake? 

I tried to come up with something yesterday, but I'm not sure of the amount of flour to sugar to shortening. Mine came out on the dry side so I'm sure I have the portions wrong. 

I mixed me up some "Missouri Mix" (generic bisquick) but I think I got the shortening wrong.

No tapioca flour, I have a negative reaction like wheat.

My flour mix is:
3 pts sorghum flour
1 pt sweet rice
1 pt brown or white rice
1 pt potato starch
