I am biopsy diagnosed celiac and have been gf for 8 months--doing great.
Problem now is we are beginning to suspect my 9 year old as having
celiac as well.

She had such a bad stomach ache 2 days ago that the hot dog and bun she
had at a picnic was enough to convince her never to eat gluten again.
So, she has been gluten free for 48 hours. We have an appt for blood
work on Friday.

Dilemna:

Will being gf for one week provide a negative result on the antibody
test? (There is no way on this earth I'll be able to convince her to
eat gluten before the test)

Then, not that going gf was easy, but it was much simpler for me. Now I
have to pack her gf lunches--very difficult. I have subscribed to
celiac kids but is there anyone out there who has some quick good
tasting ideas for her lunch?

Thank you, will summarize

Lauren
