Thank you to everyone who sent me information and the website address for Sweet Nothings Non-Dairy Frozen Desserts.  Sweet Nothings is a rice based product that doesn't contain soy or milk and tastes wonderful.

Below is the statement from Turtle Mountain concerning the gluten status of their products.  


Thank you for your interest in our Sweet Nothings products. The line of Sweet Nothings pints and also the 2 novelties -- Mango Raspberry bar and Fudge bar do not contain any ingredients which knowingly contain gluten.  I have enclosed a chart that shows all of our Soy Delicious lines along with the Sweet Nothings as to their gluten content.
Provided below is a table that identifies products we consider, to the best of our knowledge, to be free of gluten.  Please be advised however, that this statement is based on the fact that these products do not directly contain any ingredients, which intentionally contain gluten. It is important to realize however, that our products are produced on equipment that also process products, which do contain gluten.  In addition, many of the flavors we use are alcohol based - some of which use grain alcohols. Certain groups claim that grain alcohols contain trace amounts of gluten.  We are not aware of any studies substantiating this claim.

We are committed to providing the safest and best quality products possible.  Our products are produced following strict Good Manufacturing Practices, which includes a thorough and regimented cleaning program. Despite this fact, there is always the possibility that a trace amount of gluten may be present in the products listed below.  You should also keep in mind that any of our products that use cookies, wafers, cookie pieces, brownie pieces or other wheat-based ingredients will contain gluten.  

We appreciate your concern regarding the presence of gluten. We hope the information we have provided helps clarify whether our products satisfy your dietary concerns.  As always, if you have reason to believe that you are allergic to gluten or other common food allergens, then we strongly recommend that you consult a physician before consuming any of our products to insure your health and well being.
