I just checked on the Starkist web site. Their tuna does not contain
gluten.

From www.starkist.com:

Q. Does StarKistR Tuna contain any gluten or grain ingredients?

A. Gluten is not an ingredient in any variety of StarKistR Tuna. This
does not apply to crackers in the Lunch To Go Kit or in Tuna Salad.

Q. What kind of vegetables are used in the vegetable broth?

A. Vegetable broth is added to some StarKistR Tuna products as a flavor
enhancer. The vegetable broth is made from dehydrated vegetables as
determined by FDA (Food & Drug Administration) standards. The broth must
consist of two or more of the following: beans, cabbage, carrots,
celery, garlic, onions, parsley, peas, potatoes, green or red bell
peppers, spinach, or tomatoes.

If you have dietary restrictions or allergies to any of these
ingredients, you might want to try StarKist Low Sodium Tuna which
contains only tuna and water, or Gourmet's Choice Tuna Fillet which is
available packed in water or olive oil.
