This is a traditional Polish dill sauce which, among other things, can
be used on finely slice cucumbers

Dill Sauce
1 8oz container plain yogurt OR sour cream
1 tablespoon fresh, finely minced dill leaves or 1 teas dried dill
1 garlic clove, finely minced
1 medium onion, finely minced

combine all ingredients

for Polish Cucumber salad, thinly slice cucumber and sprinkle with salt
to drain liquid.   Let sit for approximately a half hour.  Rinse and pat
dry.  Combine with sauce. Store in refrigerator.  Will hold for several
days
