As for the <The recommendation was to stay away from Dr.s and treat

I'm thinking this is more of a tongue in cheek concept or a statement
made by a vitamin and mineral supplement SALESPERSON....

I think a middle ground is best... using the best of all available
knowledge. I have my axes to grind about the medical *system*, and have a
list of Doctor's I have "fired" if you will. Still some have come up with
some proper diagnoses, that will in the long run....probably save my life &
that of millions of others. I don't want to go off the deep end in any
direction...... too much of any given vitamin & mineral supplement can do
damage as well.

I think most people have some *negative* experiences in the healthcare
realms (you have quite the list), but there are *positive* ones too &
sometimes you have to experience the bad to finally get to the
good...... but I encourage folks to ask around and continue to seek a
good healthcare professional....... they do exist!

*stepping off soapbox now*
