Hello everyone,
A few more responses. Several anti-Zojirushi and a couple pro-Z comments. I'm including one of each in this summary. Again, thanks.

--I like my Oster. Mainly select one with a good strong motor regardless of the brand. For example, I'd buy good brands of blenders but wear out the motors really fast so I went to industrial from the restaurant supply store.

--I love my Breadman Pro Target $99.99

--When I first got CD in 96 we went right out and bought a Zojirushi. She used it for awhile till she found out about a Kitchenaid mixer, now she prefers that to the bread machine anytime. She uses Bean flour and Sorghum as the main ingredients. She makes some good pancakes also. We got rid of the bread machine.

--I use a Panasonic 253, it has a 'gluten cycle' and works well with recipes or ready mixed products.
