Dear all,

Thanks for all your messages and support to my recent posting.

I will try to summarise the responses I got; please bear with me as this
is the first time I have done this.

It was suggested that the straw bedding could be aggravating my
breathing problems but more than likely it is the animals themselves. I
took advice and have moved them out of the rooms in which I spend a lot
of time. I am now looking for a supplier of wood chips or paper based
bedding.

It seems that I am not alone in my lack of current positive diagnosis.
Many people said I was doing the right thing by sticking to the gf
diet.I know my symptoms are not psychological as I'm ill if I eat gluten
unknowingly. I was officially diagnosed as a baby but my early childhood
records have been lost. A few people said that the diet is for life and
I'm quite happy to go along with that train of thought.

I have now had my operation date (Jan 19th) and am trying to collect
together an emergency pack of gf food to take with me. Any suggestions
for what to put in it would be appreciated. I had not realised that the
gallstones could be connected to the cd and would like to thank Don Wiss
for posting an article by Ronald Hoggan illustrating the link.

Once again thanks for all your help. I hope this message isn't too
garbled!
