Good news for?those who are fond of scrapple (a savory delicacy in the Philadelphia area).??Every brand I've examined has included wheat flour, so I'm happy?to confirm?that Stoltzfus doesn't use any wheat.? The two places I've found Stoltzfus meats are the Farmers Market in Lancaster, PA and the Reading Terminal Market in dowtown Philly.

Good afternoon.

?

I've seen your scrapple at Reading Terminal Market in Philadelphia as well as the Farmers Market in Lancaster.? When I ask the sales staff whether there is any wheat in your scrapple, they tell me they it contains buckwheat but not whether it contains wheat.? Could you please confirm this for me?

?

As someone with celiac disease, I must adhere to a gluten-free diet, meaning no products with wheat, barley, rye, or oats.? However, buckwheat is OK because it is not at all related to wheat (despite the name).? Other brands of scrapple all seem to include some wheat, so I would be very happy to find a brand which I can consume, and I'm sure that other celiacs in the?region would be interested as well.

?

Thank you for time and attention to this question.

?
