Dear Ed,

I would recommend that you get a book by Elaine Gottschall called BREAKING
THE VICIOUS CYCLE:  INTESTINAL HEALTH THROUGH DIET.  The publisher is Ingram.
 You should be able to order it from any bookstore.  It is a diet for
Crohn's, Ulcerative Colitis, Diverticulitis, Celiac disease, Cystic Fibrosis
and chronic diarrhea.  Her diet is called the Specific Carbohydrate Diet.
 She lays out her theory, diet and provides many recipes.  I'll be starting
my son on this diet over the holidays.  Let me know what you think.  Maybe
someone has already tried it.
