The Colin Leslie Walk for Celiac Disease will be held this year on -

 

October 16, 2011

Rye High School, Rye NY

9 am - 2 pm

 

Come support the walk to raise funds for celiac disease research. All
proceeds are donated to the Celiac Disease Center at Columbia University.

 

Included in the event this year are:

 

.         2 and 4 mile walk options

 

.         A gluten free vendor fair

 

.         Guest speaker: Anne Byrn, author of the bestselling cookbook, The
Cake Mix Doctor Bakes Gluten-Free. Anne will discuss tips and techniques for
creating fabulous gluten free desserts from readily available gluten free
cake mixes.

 

.         A gluten free cake contest with great prizes for the winners.

 

.         "Meet the Nutritionist" table with Suzanne Simpson, R.D., from the
Celiac Disease Center at Columbia University. Suzanne will be available to
answer your questions about celiac disease nutrition.

 

A gluten free lunch will be available for purchase.
