My sister and I have both been diagnosed with celiac disease for
more than 5 years, and try to be extremely compliant on the diet.
However, we both go through periods of exhaustion, when we need
afternoon naps, even after a good night's sleep. I usually attribute
my exhaustion to anemia and suspect a diet problem, but don't know if
that is valid, as my annual checkups don't show anemia. Do other
people continue to have bouts of extreme exhaustion? Is that a
continuing symptom of celiac disease even when diet compliant?
