An article in today's "Times" (http://www.thetimes.co.uk) reports that
UK research team at Guy's & St Thomas' in London have won German
Institute of Technology international competition (DM12 million) for
research projects "based on genetic structure of grains of cereal and
designed to develop variants of wheat, rye and barley that are non toxic
to people with coeliac disease."

Congratulations - perhaps this is one GM project that may be helpful -
let's hope so.
