Jackie's story about coercing her hubby into going GF tickled me & reminded
me of an amazing story I read about Mahatma Ghandi & members of his family.

His grandson had a horrible skin condition. Indian physicians told him he
would get well if he stopped eating sweets. His mother, father & family
tried & tried to cajole this young man into abstaining from sweets, but to
no avail. It seemed the more they tried, the more he indulged his sweet
tooth. Finally his mother went to grandpa Ghandi to asked his advise.
Grandpa Ghandi said he'd talk to the young man which he did. Weeks later,
the mother brought the young man to see his grandfather. The young man's
skin was completely healed. The mother reported that he had been very
diligent in completely abstaining from sweets ever since chatting with his
grandpa Ghandi. "What did you say to him?" the mother inquired. Ghandi
replied, "I told him that I wouldn't eat another sweet until he did."
