Hello listmembers,
I while back I requested information about the ms cd relationship. I
provided a summary of that info but I was also asked by several respondants
to post the results of my sister-in-law's quest for cd blood work. Well,
I'm sad to report that her MS specialist told her the blood test for Celiac
was not necessary. He is certain that she has MS. He also told her that
she was tested for CD 4 years ago. She did not remember this but took his
word. I wished she would have pushed for the blood test. I mean what's a
blood test?? But I haev also been in situations with a physician where
he/she convinces you of something that you were fully prepared not to agree
to, etc... Hmmm, so now I'm waiting for my other sister-in-law to get her
results from her blood test. If she's positive maybe her sister will
re-think the blood test :) I'm hoping. Not that I wish CD on anyone, but
you all know that no matter how difficult the diet is it's a small price to
pay for feeling 200% better.

take care all
Chris in Ontario
