Hello!
  I am a relatively new listmember, and have learned much from you on this
list!  It is suspected that I have celiac disease.  My gastroenterologist just
did the bloodwork (no results back yet), and I have an intestinal biopsy
scheduled for this coming Monday (Nov. 16).
    My question is this:  Has anyone had a bad reaction to the biopsy?  Did
you get worse afterwards or get new symptoms?  Were they long-lasting?
     I don't react well to many procedures.  My g.p. had me do a barium
swallow for an upper G.I. and small intestine study, and I had what may have
been an allergic reaction to the barium, and am also still having intestinal
difficulties from it.  That said, it makes me a little leary to have the
biopsy.
    Any reactions?
