Dear Listmates

I have a question regarding genetic markers for celiac disease in the
parents of celiacs diagnosed by serology( or biopsy) .

At a recent blood screening my five year old niece tested EmA positive.
Wouldn't this indicate that her mother( the sister of two diagnosed
celiacs) would definitely show genetic markers for celiac disease?

Thanks
Dan
