I like Jane's idea that companies could include info about their products
gf status on their websites.

Based on the first reaction I got from others on this list to Proctor &
Gamble telling me that Scope was gf, I would suspect that we need to be
very, very clear with the companies about what gluten is etc. in order to
trust that the products they list on their websites are indeed gf.

But, once we figure out how to reach that point of trust, I agree that
posting info on their web site would be one of the most efficient ways
companies could disseminate up-to-date info to us.

And for those celiacs who don't have computers or internet access at home
or work, they still could get an e-mail address and make a trip to their
local library's "public" computers.

Let's keep thinking! I love Steven Covey's idea about synergy - together we
can accomplish our goal of having an easier time of choosing foods - both
in natural form or prepared.
