Hi everyone. I was so thrilled to go back to Wal-Mart and see Vans
g/fWaffles
in the freezer for 1.77 and the "wheat" ones are 1.87 here in North
Charleston, SC at the Rivers Ave store. Go figure. I had a very
interesting conversation with Mark, a manager, and he says his girl friend
has CD and as I explained, he was thrilled about me using these for
sandwiches.
He is interested in carrying other items after I told him I ordered a case
of g/f Poconos Cream of Buckwheat yesterday, from
www.thebirkettmills.com, rather than drive to Whole Foods for it. He said
to bring him one of the empty boxes when I get them. I got some
interesting replies about Van's being sold for as much as 3.59.
One person said a Wal-Mart in Chicago had them already. When I told Mark
about posting this message. He wanted the address and is very interesting
in helping the celiacs in this area.
Charlie
