Enzyme Combination May Be Helpful in Celiac Disease

may be able to achieve gastric digestion of dietary gluten in patients with 
celiac disease, according to California-based researchers.

Factors Other Than Dietary Gluten May Be Involved in Triggering Celiac 
Disease

The timing and order of appearance of five antibodies associated with celiac 
disease (CD) suggest that triggers other than dietary gluten may be 
responsible, at least in part, for the emergence of clinical CD, according to a Finnish 
study published in the September issue of the American Journal of 
Gastroenterology.
