In response to Mary Courtney's request (long ago) for silly celiac
definitions, I offer "celiac tastebuds" which I define as belonging to
people who say about a recipe "Looks like wheat bread, smells like wheat
bread, tastes like wheat bread" and then when a non-celiac tastes that
bread the non-celiac says "Bleagh!" I'm not sure whether celiacs develop
celiac tastebuds quickly or slowly, but I sure hope I get a set soon, so
everything starts tasting wonderfully normal to me.
