When I saw a warning about paper products (Brawny, Marcal) that are made with gluten in the glue, my first reaction was, so what. Then I had an epiphane of sorts.

While research shows the gluten molecule can't pass through skin (I still
avoid it in topical stuff...kind of like a superstition or just-in-case),
it just dawned on me that I often use paper towels in the microwave to cover food or wrap "baked" potatoes. That would mean the food is exposed to gluten. I never
would have thought to be concerned about gluten in paper towels!!!!

We live & learn!

Lin
