Dear listmates,

Does any one on the list know how to interpret Mayo Medical Laboratories results for HLA Class II Typing for Gluten Intolerance or Celiac Disease?

My questions are:

What is DR location?

What is DRW Locus?

What is DQ Locus?

I understand that HLA DQ2 and 8 are standard indicators of gene for development of Celiac Disease. I understand that new tests include HLA DQ1. Does anyone have experience with these results? Does anyone know if Mayo results do that breakdown, or only 2 and 8?

Denise
