Hi again. I just wanted to clarify that I have never been a "diagnosed"
celiac. No biopsies, just one of the blood tests that came back high and
the gluten free diet DEFINATELY helping. I think what is being looked for
is that maybe the gluten intolerance is not the problem - maybe it is just
lessening the problem? I understand why it is necessary for me to do it -
I need to know what is going on and what else is wrong. To be honest, I
did not really consider the possibility of their being another food
allergy. From my understanding, Dr. Fasano, whom I find to be a fabulous
doctor!!!, believes that celiac disease/gluten intolerance is not the
probelm that I am facing. If this is correct, I am not quite sure why the
gluten free diet is helping as much as it is (or why after having gluten
back in my diet for 2 days I am already feeling "loopy", grouchy,
constipated, exhausted, having cramps, so on and so forth). So that is
where I am at. It is certainly a place I do not want to be, but since I
am... Thank you all once again for your thoughts and suggestions!
Jennifer
