Sorry it has taken me so long to send this summary. My days just get away
from me. I received some good advice about the Novi area, but none about
South Bend. After my visit to South Bend, I don't have any recommendations
either. I managed not to get sick, but the service at the restaurants was
sub-par and I was very limited in what I could eat. Thanks to everyone who
emailed me.

Restaurants in the Novi area:
*Carrabbas in Novi. [We ate there. The waitress didn't know about celiac,
but was very helpful! Good food.]
*Steve and Rocky's. Very accommodating (Novi)
*B.D.s Mongolian bbq. They will cook your food in back and go through the
recipe book for gf sauces.
*P.F Changs is also close by on Haggerty Road and 61/2 mile. They have a gf
menu.
*Outback Steakhouse on Grand River Ave. which has a GF menu.
*Leo's Coney Island on Grand River (right near the Outback) which is very
good and has good eggs, bacon and hash browns, all of which are GF.

Stores in Novi area:
*Good Food Company on Ford Rd. in Canton (just south of Livonia).
*Zerbo's Health Foods, 34164 Plymouth Road, Livonia, MI, 48154. It is on
the north side of the road, west of Farmington Rd.
*Whole Food store in West Bloomfield
*Trader Joes in Farmington Hills.
