Hi all! Well, here's my situation. I have been gf for two years now
(since I was 20 1/2) and I am still having some problems such as mucus in
my stools, occasional blood, and some cramping. I have immediate reactions
to gluten (such as gastro problems right away and 72 hours to the moment I
originially ingested the gluten, a horrific migraine) and yet b/c of the
continuing gastro problems while on the gf diet I am to do a gluten
challenge for the next 6-8 weeks and then have an endoscopy and
colonoscopy. I began the challenge this past friday and i have NO clue how
I am going to keep this up for the next 6 or so weeks. I have no desire
to eat these foods. Does anyone have ANY suggestions on how to do this?
Any thoughts are welcome and appreciated. FYI - I completely understand
why the challenge is necessary and after talking to Dr. Fasano, I know that
it is the only route for me to go, but nonetheless I'm not sure how to do
it. Thank you!
