Hello Everyone,

I have always found this list so helpful, and everyone has been terrific whenever I have posted questions.

I sure hope that someone can help me now..

My mother (74yo) has just been diagnosed with both Celiac Disease and Diabetes.

Both my father and I were diagnosed celiacs about 6 years ago, so we feel comfortable with the gf diet. But, we're quite overwhelmed with a diabetic diet and gf diet! We have not found a good nutritionist for her yet to help with the diabetes, never mind gf diet.

Does anyone have any good resources for carb counting, meal planning, or general information or assistance for those on both diets? My mother is eating only eggs and some vegetables right now, so I am really anxious to find her some help.

Thank you so much for any information you can offer! We really appreciate your help!

Christine
Atlanta, GA
