I have a lot of retired racing greyhounds running around my house and
recently my mother asked me a question I certainly never thought of.

I know I still have been feeling badly even though I *think* I'm doing
pretty well at the gf thing.

But I feed these hounds here twice a day. I handle 44 pounds of kibble
a week. I wash my hands a lot, my house it kept clean...I'm a clean
freak even with numerous dogs. I have been tested for allergies to dogs
and cats. (I also have 2 cats.) And came up fine there.

The question my mother posed to me is this -
With the dog food having grains in it....and me handling so much of it
in food prep for them, could I be contaminating myself with it.

The food is NOT anywhere around the people food - we have a different
area here for just that which isn't even on the same level of the house
as the people food. However, I do pour it from the bag into our big
plastic container. And I know that 'kibble particles' go into the air
when I pour it. I pour it outside and then bring it in.

Can breathing in particles of this cause problems for me? Or is gluten
not a problem that way?

Thanks! (I am still getting information in on the citric acid question
and will summarize it soon.)
