Hello,

I have been following the YEAST-L and Celiacs Disease mailing lists
for about a week now - I discovered them from the IBS newgroup,
which is how i have "officially" been diagnosed. However, after my own
research, and advice from a few very helpful individuals, it seems
clear to me at least that my symptoms are that of either Candidiasis
OR Celiacs Disease.

Here is the problem - the two are so similar, I wonder if anyone else
out there has found themselves in the same dilemma as I - is perhaps
the Candidiasis a result of Celiacs Disease ? - and how would they
advise my next step. I am unsure whether to re-consult my doctor with
all this new information, try the 3 (6?) week exclusion diet suggested
for Celiacs, look into (sorry :) having a rectal biopsy ... etc...

I do find it rather odd that the two "groups" seem for the most
part almost unaware of the other's existance - most people seem to
be convinced they have Candida, OR Celiacs, without any mention of
the other.

Confused,
