My wife, who has been GF for the last 8 years, recently went through some
GI testing because of a recent flare-up. A stricture was found in the
colon and now the specialists believe that she has Crohn's. Does anyone
have any knowledge of the relationship between Crohn's and Celiac? I have
read almost all the medical texts and little is said about Celiac in the
chapters dealing with Irritable Bowel Disease.

  They think that her GF diet has helped the Crohn's although no one is
willing to commit that there is a cause-effect relationship between the
two.

  By the way, thanks for the tip on Rice Dream. The recent flare-up
occurred at about the same time as when she starting taking this stuff.
