Hi All,
I got only 7 responses so far:

One from Italy: They get EVERYTHING free on a doctors
prescription.

One from South Africa: No exempt for celiac what so ever.

Four from the States: You can deduct the difference between
normal food and GF food as medical expenses. One said it has to
be at least 15% of your income (?)

One Canadian did not provide details.

In the UK you can get lots of GF food on a doctors prescription, for
a negligible amount or free fro children and pregnant women.

In Israel there is no relief for the Celiac population except one type
of local GF corn starch flour which is subsidized (55 US Cents per
Kg). (the quality is not that good though...)

I would like to ask Celiacs from all over the world to write me,
especially from Western Europe: Holland, France, Germany,
Scandinavia.

Thanks,

Eyal Sheffer,
Israeli Celiac Association
