Hello Everyone!

I've often been asked about the safety of charcoal for people with celiac
disease, and finally decided to e-mail a manufacturer about this issue.
You'll be interested in the answer below--and it may open the door for some
to use charcoal grills this summer!

Best wishes,

>Both corn and wheat starches are used in this product, but we
predominantly use cornstarch. In any case, the briquets burn at such a high
temperature that the starch is burned, it does not transfer to the food.
