Hello everybody,

I have a question...Up until recently, I was taking a product that had the following on the label: This product is specially formulated to be free of wheat, gluten etc... This is a homeopathic medicine put out by a pharmaceutical grade company. I have taken this product before with no problems, but she put me on it again several weeks ago, and almost instantly I had gluten intolerant reactions. Well, I called her and naturally she doubted I knew what I was talking about, so I thought okay, maybe it is from something else and kept taking it. Then about 3 weeks later, on another bottle of this stuff I notice a tiny little inch sized disc sticker with the words: "This product contains wheat, derived carbohydrate..." I was shocked...I called the Doctor immediately and she had trouble with that because the company has such a high standing reputation. When she told the company of my reaction, they are telling her that there is no way I could have had a reaction to there product because there is no gluten in it. Long story short, she now needs to know if wheat, derived from carbohydrate has gluten or can cause a gluten reaction. I have looked for this answer, but can't find it anywhere. Does anybody out there know the answer and can you direct me to solid evidence? Thanks in advance.
