I just talked to my parish priest and he indicated that there is a
archdiocese policy for communion for those people who are allergic to
wheat. He did not know what exactly and will try to look into it for
me. In the meantime, I thought I would see what I could find out since
my son's first holy communion is coming up. So are there any Baltimore
Catholics that are receiving communion? If so, is it a low gluten host,
a no gluten host, or just the wine? Please let me know so I am able to
help him out. Thanks in advance.
