The Listowners have prepared a series of reference files based upon
previous posts. Complete details on all of the files are available in
the file (FILEDESC). These files are designed to establish a common
foundation for all subscribers and thereby reduce the volume of mail due
to repeat questions.

If you wish to look at any of these files, you can either browse through
web page at:

  http://rdz.acor.org/lists/celiac/

Or you can have them sent to you as e-mail messages by sending a message
to [log in to unmask] containing one or more lines of this
form:

   GET CELIAC filename

"filename" refers to any of the uppercase names listed below, such as
GROUPSAU.

The reference files and web page for the CELIAC list have been
recently been updated. Here are some highlights:

-- We created a separate file, GROUPSAU, for Australia; previously it
was included in the GROUPSIN file.

-- The GROUPScc and GRPUS-ss files are up-to-date, to the best of our
knowledge. "cc" is one of these country abbreviations: AU CA FI IT
US; or it is IN, which includes all remaining countries. "ss" is one
of the standard state abbreviations for the USA.

These listings of support groups and local contacts are an excellent
first source for questions about a local area.

-- Files containing posts from the last three months of 1998 are
   up-to-date, including EXP98-4 (expert postings) and REC98-4
(recipes). Also, bread-making posts for 1998 are up-to-date in the
   BREAD98 file.

-- Files containing posts from January are also up-to-date, including
   REC98-1, EXP99-1, REC99-1, and BREAD99.

-- The latest two issues of _The Sprue-nik Press_, a newsletter from
the Tri-County Celiac Sprue Support Group in SE Michigan, are
   available in SPNK9901 and SPNK9902.

-- There is now an article/recipe index available (on the web page only)
for back issues of _The Sprue-nik Press_. Items are now indexed
according to type of item (Hints & Tips, Ingredients, Personal
Stories, Medical/Research, Product Information, and Recipes). Items
are also indexed by the name of the speaker or author, when
applicable; and by support group name, if the items came from another
newsletter. Currently the recipe index goes back to the first online
issue, and the other indices go back to July 1996. This should make
it much easier to find something you remember reading in the past, or
to look up specific topics of interest. Go directly to this index
   by visiting <http://rdz.acor.org/lists/celiac/sn/spnkindx.html>.

-- It is now possible to make changes to your subscription through an
   easy-to-use interface at:

      http://rdz.acor.org/lists/celiac/subcmds.html

This includes stopping your mail during vacation or signing off of
   the List.
