Summertime brought lots of family group visitors to Chicken Paradise in San
Antonio, Texas. Now that school has started, we expect to see more tourism
and business visitors who like to stay at a gluten free place. If you
haven't visited our website lately, you can go to www.chickenparadise.com to
see what to expect when you stay with us.

It is migration time of year, and we get lots of birders in September and
October. Birders really enjoy being here on our 1 1/2 acres city lot
because we are a wild bird haven and have a Certified Wildlife Habitat here.
How often do you get to share an outdoor shower with migrating songbirds?
The big ancient oak tree that provides the private setting for the shower is
a favorite songbird stopover. http://www.nwf.org/backyard/certify.cfm

Another upcoming event is the San Antonio Rock and Roll Marathon. We just
had a cancellation, so the weekend of November 15, 16 is available if you
know someone who wants to be here for the marathon.

We serve you a full custom-planned breakfast based on your dietary
requirements and preferences, and are happy to provide you with the
locations of other places to eat your gluten-free lunch or dinner. You can
see some of these places shown on the Defensive Dining pages of
www.alamoceliac.org .

We look forward to having you as our guests,

Anne and Joe Barfield
