A friend sent this to me because she knows how alone a person can feel
with celiac disease because of the dietary restrictions. I hope you will
take the time to read this:

Feeling Alone?
Sometimes it seems
in this world full of people
That no matter where we are
or who we are with
Still we still feel alone
Alone because we cannot voice
The things we really want to do or say
The things that stay inside our hearts
And long to be set free
We fear at times that if we say
The things we really feel
That people will not understand
And think they are not real
But just because they can't be heard
And somehow people fail to see
Those feelings still are in our hearts
And longing to be free
And just when we had given up
And thought our fate was sealed
To be a soul that's so alone
Amidst a crowded sea
We hear a voice so loud and clear
That no one else can hear
Another one that hears our cries
That feels our silent pleas
So don't despair when you are lost
And feel you're so alone
There is another in this world
That hears your words out loud
Someone who's also felt the pain
Of feelings trapped inside
you'll recognize their soul
and know it's meant to be
So hear their voice
and take their hand
together you'll be free
and both of you will never be
So alone again.

And with the wealth of information and help here on the list, you will
never be alone again.
