Hi evryone
I think you will like the article in the LIFE section (Religion and Ethics)
 of "San Jose Mercury News" California,  written by Judith Neuman Beck
and entitled "The Communion Ailment"    refering to the communion wafer,
which is wheat based.  (Saturday Jan. 24, 1998)
        The article contains a quote from a name I recognise from this List
.... Dr. Joe Murray ... who says "Celliacs should treat gluten the same way
they treat rat poison"   Good analogy!  It is a well written comment on the
dilemma of church-goers who get sick partaking of "the body of Christ"
       If you cannot get hold of the Newspaper, and would like a copy of the
article I would be happy to fax it.
