Some weeks ago there were questions on the list about eye inflammation and
irisitis or uveitis.

 

I have long suspected my Dad is celiac, and while he was in the hospital and
rehab for heart failure, an excellent nurse told me she thought he had
spondylitis, an inflammation of the spine and other tissues.   This seems to
be the answer to my back and joint problems so I am off to see the
rheumatologist to see if I can avoid my father's disability from this.

 

I have found this excellent website which talks about the relationships
between irisitis, uveitis, spondylitis and crohns/irritable bowel problems.
I am thinking it may be another inflammatory problem related to celiac and
wanted to share this information.
