Hi Fellow List Members,
Just a quick reminder about spelt. I was at a neighbors yesterday and she
was telling me about her co-worker that has gone gf........this co-worker
was at a healthfood store and was sold spelt flour as being gf......yikes!
I was told that same thing back in my new gf days and made myself very
sick! I thought this had been straightened out. Spelt is a wheat!
Considered an ancient wheat but a wheat none the less and has the same
gluten content as normal wheat. Thanks for listening. I just wanted to warn
any new members as it seems some health food stores don't have it right
yet. Dianne in BC
