Thanks to everyone who responded to my post about a wedding cake.

I contacted three local baker's in my area (Canton, Ohio) and 2 out of the
three were most helpful. They've never baked a GF wedding cake but they are
willing to frost/ice/decorate one from Mr. Ritt's Bakery for me without any
problems. The 3rd one was another story. When I told the owner what I
wanted done, she kind of got "snooty" with me and said "she never heard of
such a thing". I explained she did not need to bake the cake, that I would
have the blank cakes delivered from a bakery from Philadelphia and she
proceeded to ask me when the date was. I told her May 17th. She promptly
told me she was doing 3 other cakes that day and didn't have time...I guess
I just "won't have time" to refer her bakery to others that are in the same
situtation...

At least the other 2 bakeries were a little understanding and makes me feel
like I'm not alone with this.

Thanks to all who wished us "good luck"

Sue Oliver
